Procedure - Onboarding procedure (Sales team + Driver Team)

Sales team has a meeting with the potential pharmacy.

  • Confirms basic info of the pharmacy.

  • Makes sure the pharmacy is a good fit for us and we are a good fit for them.

    • Volume 

    • Radius 

    • Location

    • Delivery Days 

    • Pick up times (windows)

    • Facilities or group homes

  • Reviews basic minimums the pharmacy needs to hit.  

  • Reviews medzoomer basic workflows.



Pharmacy agrees to partner with medzoomer.  

  • Operations lead sends registration email. 

  • Operations lead sends service fee addendum. 

  • If the pharmacy doesn’t complete registration or communicate with operations lead within 3 days, we reach back out via phone call or email.


Pharmacy completes registration and service fee addendum.

  • Operations Lead communicates with the Driver team to advertise to drivers in the pharmacy’s region.


Operations lead reaches out to the pharmacy to set up a call for next steps. 

  • Completing pharmacy questionnaire. 

  • Setting up a demonstration of our portal (either on that call or in the future)  

  • Identify the start date

  • Driver Operations Lead reviews specific driver/pharmacy procedures. 

  • Driver Operations Lead reviews driver specific workflow to the pharmacy. 


Start Date Identified 

  • Driver onboarding team interviews and onboards driver applicants. 

  • Driver Operations lead trains and sets expectations to onboarded drivers. 

  • Onboarded and trained drivers will have equipment (Shirt, hat, bag) sent to them. 

  • Driver Operations Lead confirms to Operations lead that we have enough drivers to start delivering for the pharmacy. 


Drivers are confirmed for the new pharmacy 

  • Operations lead sends Uline (Envelops) 

  • Operations lead contacts pharmacy via email or phone communicating that Uline has arrived at their location. 

  • Operations lead reconfirms start date. 



Day before the first delivery

  • Operations lead reaches out to the pharmacy to address any last questions and concerns before their first day. 


Day of the first delivery 

  • Operations lead calls the pharmacy to make sure all operations are going smoothly/successfully.
